Every year Hope Uniting joins with thousands of other people throughout Australia and New Zealand in Operation Christmas Child. It’s a simple act with a big message – “you are loved”. Shoe boxes filled with gifts – toys and clothes and health products – are sent to children throughout the world who are in need. No religious words, no compulsory lectures. Just a gift for children in need.

There’s a time for economic policies and development packages.
And there’s a time for giving a small box of toys to kids. Whoever they are.
